Deliver complete policy launch or cross-functional work products that are integrated into overarching projects and create meaningful impact in policy work with minimal assistance.

Design, execute, and advocate for policy and standards frameworks, engaging with cross-functional partners to promote trust and mitigate risk for our client. Assess emerging issues, own at least one workflow or project area, and evaluate the impact of local law updates and active litigation. Plan and execute the majority of prioritized project work independently, leveraging the team for additional support.

Role Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend creative solutions to evolving policy problems independently.
• Address escalated issues or triage when required promptly.
• Deconstruct complex problems, frame policy issues, and contextualize solutions for management, stakeholders, and decision makers.
• Identify trends, anticipate challenges, and develop strategies for ambiguous problems with no clear solutions.
• Collaborate within teams to communicate knowledge related to a broad set of tasks.
• Identify key stakeholders, build networks, and facilitate cross-team collaboration for success.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.
• Engage with external partners to demonstrate thought leadership on policy/process issues or innovative approaches.
• Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for project components.
• Work with cross-functional partners, including technical and vendor teams, to support policy launch and implementation.
• Understand the implications of policy and process changes on systems, enforcement, and operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of policy development and implementation, ensuring policies are adoptable by enforcement teams.
• Establish, manage, and implement global product policies and standards with regional and cultural considerations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to develop and implement product policies across various products.
• Participate in investigations and respond to external inquiries and requests.
• Identify and analyze policy issues impacting the business and users, prioritizing accordingly.
• Resolve high-impact policy escalations across products with minimal guidance.

Skills & Experience:

• Effective communication skills across diverse audiences and formats.
• Knowledge of online, international, and multilingual communities.
• Understanding of how to handle disruptive and unexpected events.
• Proficiency in a foreign language such as German, French, Mandarin, Spanish, or Russian.
• Knowledge of policies, product platforms, and internet legal/regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in internet technologies, policy, and regulatory environments, especially related to online safety and content moderation.
• Ability to communicate fluently in French and English.
