Job summary

Itchy Feet is seeking a Policy Associate to join a team focused on enhancing financial crime regulation in jersey. The role supports the design, development and delivery of regulatory policies, with involvement in AML/CFT/CPF governance and international standards alignment.

The successful candidate will contribute to evaluating existing policies, preparing consultation papers and reports, and engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes across national projects

Qualifications

Strong research, analytical, drafting, communication and organisational skills.
Experience in a policy, regulatory, legal, financial services, consultancy or government environment.
Understanding of financial services regulation or policy development is beneficial.
Familiarity with Jersey's financial services industry, legal structures, and AML/CFT/CPF framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Support the design, development and delivery of regulatory policies across financial crime areas.
Contribute to reviews and assessments of the regulatory framework, policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of consultation papers, discussion documents, briefings and internal reports.
Maintain governance arrangements, records and supporting processes.
