Zusammenfassung

Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) is seeking a Policy Associate to support Jersey’s financial crime framework within the Policy Division. You will conduct research, analyse regulatory issues, and help draft consultations and guidance while coordinating with internal teams and partner agencies.

The role requires proactive collaboration, strong writing and governance skills, and an interest in financial crime policy.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to analyse legal, regulatory and policy issues and evaluate evidence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and succinctly.
• A careful and thorough approach to research, drafting, records and governance with quality outputs.
• Ability to build constructive working relationships and coordinate contributions from different teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, organise meetings and meet deadlines.
• A strong interest in financial services, regulatory frameworks and AML/CFT/CPF developments.

Aufgaben

• Policy development: Support the design, development and delivery of new or revised regulatory policy across financial crime areas.
• Research, analysis and effectiveness: Contribute to reviews of the regulatory framework and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drafting and governance: Assist in consultation papers, briefing notes and internal reports, and maintain governance records.
• Stakeholder engagement and coordination: Prepare materials and contribute to meetings, workshops and working groups.
• International standards and regulatory effectiveness: Support alignment with FATF standards and external reviews.
• Cross-organisational and national collaboration: Work across the JFSC and with national projects to ensure consistent approaches.
