Job summary

West Midlands Police is inviting applications for the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP), a two-year work-based route with no degree requirement. You’ll join frontline teams, gain practical, hands-on training, and contribute to reducing crime while engaging with local communities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English (Grade C/4 or above) OR Level 3 qualification (2 A-levels) or equivalent.
• No degree required to apply.
• 12 months relevant policing experience (e.g., Special Constables, PCSOs, PSI/PSIOs, Detention/Escort Officers, Force Contact) or related frontline NHS/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Policing frontline duties, responding to 999 calls, and supporting communities.
• Engaging with local communities, reducing crime, and protecting the vulnerable.
