Job summary

Swan Hellenic Diana and Swan Hellenic Vega seek an experienced 3rd Officer to maintain a safe navigational watch on the bridge while at sea, in port and at anchor. Embarkation is scheduled for 09/Dec/2026 with a contract duration of 3 months on/off.

Candidates must have polar waters experience and a valid Basic Polar Code Certificate, plus strong references. Fluent English and good knowledge of navigational charts are essential; MS Office skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-II/1.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of navigational charts and publications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe navigational watch on the bridge at sea, in port and at anchor.
• Assist and support the Safety Officer and Navigation Officer as directed.
• Participate in crew and passenger safety drills and follow safety regulations.
• Ensure proper use of work equipment, PPE, and safety devices.
