North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Administration Assistant for the Halton Podiatry service. You will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and health professionals, handling enquiries and booking clinic appointments.
In this role you will manage appointment scheduling, retrieve and update patient notes in EMIS, and maintain confidential records with accuracy. You will work with a small team, coordinating priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Community Podiatry administration Team in Halton. As part of a small dedicated team you will be the first point of contact for enquiries from patients, carers and Health professionals regarding general enquiries and booking appointments. You will need to be able to work alone and as part of a Team and use your own initiative to ensure deadlines are met. To utilise good communication skills. To be the first point of contact for the Halton Podiatry service and use own experience and initiative to deal efficiently and effectively with enquiries from patients, carers and a variety of Health Care Professionals. To book patients appointments for various clinics, make follow up appointments and if required, to reschedule appointments. Ability to use EMIS patient record and appointment booking system. Maintain effective administrative systems. To provide administrative and clerical support to the Halton podiatry service. Provide telephone duties for Podiatry clinics and bookings. To use own initiative to maintain the day-to-day smooth running of the office and to be responsible for organising and prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
