West London NHS Trust is seeking a motivated podiatrist to deliver high-quality podiatric care for patients at risk of serious foot health issues, with a strong emphasis on diabetes foot protection. The role may start at Band 5 in a developmental capacity with a preceptorship.

You will contribute to mentoring less experienced podiatrists, apprentices and students and join a MDT diabetic foot clinic as well as MSK clinics and nail surgery rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years NHS experience or equivalent; development path for Band 5 with preceptorship.
• Ability to supervise and mentor less experienced podiatrists, apprentices and students.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality podiatric care for at-risk patients, focusing on diabetes foot protection.
• Develop care plans with patients to support self-management and foot health.
• Visit housebound patients at home (driving and access to a car).
• Participate in MSK podiatry clinics, nail surgery rota and secondary care diabetic foot clinic MDT.
• Collaborate with community health teams and GP colleagues.
