Job summary

Viavi Solutions is seeking a PNT Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end PNT architecture, solve complex timing and GNSS challenges, and develop simulation environments. You will gather stakeholder needs, define interfaces, and support demonstrations and trials across defence-focused projects.

The role requires a strong background in engineering, systems life cycle, and embedded software fundamentals, with emphasis on autonomous work and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering in related discipline.
• Experience in systems engineering incl. requirements management, architecture, integration, validation.
• GNSS knowledge: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, etc.
• Timing systems and clock management experience.
• Embedded software fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end PNT system architectures.
• Develop and maintain PNT architecture, design and interface docs.
• Build simulation environments to characterize PNT performance.
• Design, integrate and support PNT solutions for trials and demos.
• Contribute to assured PNT strategies for degraded environments.
