Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a proactive Project Analyst (PMO) to join the Major Programme Delivery team. Based in the UK with hybrid working, you will support planning, governance and reporting to help projects run smoothly and enable informed decisions.

You'll work with Project Managers and stakeholders, develop plans, monitor risks and actions, and communicate progress. A background in PMO facilities, strong organisation, and experience with MS Office will help you

Qualifications

• PMO/Project Analyst/Junior PM experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to support planning, governance and reporting activities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret information and propose solutions.
• Experience using MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• PRINCE2 qualifications are helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, track milestones, deliveries and dependencies.
• Support governance activities and prepare meeting materials.
• Gather and analyse project information for progress reports.
• Maintain RAID logs, monitor risks and issues and dependencies.
• Foster effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Assist with budget tracking, forecasting and performance reporting.
