ALTEN LTD - UK is seeking an experienced PMO / Project Controls Engineer to support large-scale, safety-critical programmes in Bridgwater, UK. You will focus on planning, cost control, reporting and governance across complex engineering environments.

The role requires strong PMO/Planning background, experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a solid understanding of Earned Value Management within regulated settings. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Strong background in PMO, Project Controls, Planning, or Cost Engineering.
• Proven experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and scheduling activities
• Maintain and track project cost, budget, and financial forecasts
• OPEX
• Produce progress reports and performance dashboard.
• Track key metrics (SPI, CPI, Earned Value)
• Manage risks, issues, and change control processes
• Work closely with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams
• Support project governance and reporting requirements
