Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and deliver engineering projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives, with experience in Aerospace/Defence preferred.

The role is hybrid with 3x onsite expectations, offering exposure to highly regulated programmes and opportunities for career development within a global engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a Project Management role.
• Experience delivering projects within the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets and project risks.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a complex engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of engineering and technical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, plans and risk registers.
• Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and key milestones.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and project governance activities.
