Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a PMO Analyst/Senior PMO Analyst to produce governance reporting, dashboards, and management information for Engineering. You will support resource planning, capacity management, and financial tracking across engineering initiatives, while facilitating governance forums and tracking actions.

You will monitor performance metrics, escalate risks, and contribute to quarterly and annual planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a PMO Analyst, Senior PMO Analyst or equivalent Technology PMO role.
• Proven experience supporting Engineering, Technology or Digital delivery organisations.
• Strong experience producing executive-level reporting and management information, including Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Demonstrable experience of governance, planning, financial management and resource management.
• Experience working within Agile, Product or Engineering-led environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain Engineering governance reporting, dashboards and management information.
• Support resource planning and capacity management across engineering teams and strategic initiatives.
• Manage engineering financial tracking, forecasts, budgets and supplier reporting.
• Facilitate operational governance forums, leadership meetings and action tracking.
• Monitor delivery performance, KPIs, SLAs and operational metrics, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain oversight of risks, issues, dependencies and decisions, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
• Support quarterly and annual planning activities, including workforce planning and investment prioritisation.
• Drive consistency in reporting standards, governance processes and portfolio management tooling.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering leaders, Product teams, Delivery teams, suppliers and key business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through process optimisation, automation and data-driven insights.
