Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is assisting a Specialist/SEND School in Greenwich to recruit a PMLD Teaching Assistant. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, starting ASAP with a daily pay rate of £100-£116.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with PMLD, supporting learning, communication and development while promoting independence in a caring, inclusive environment.

• Desirable but not essential: experience with PMLD or SEN.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
• Assist students with learning, communication and development.
• Support students with personal care and daily activities where required.
• Encourage independence, confidence and engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
