Job summary

REESON Education in Harrow is seeking an experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school starting November 2026. This full-time, long-term position offers a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate, working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a supportive team.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with personal care, and help pupils engage in learning using visual aids and sensory resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMLD/SEN settings is essential.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Full-time availability in Harrow.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance to pupils with PMLD.
• Assist with personal care and daily living support.
• Help pupils access learning through adapted activities.
• Support mobility and use of equipment with training.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote independence.
