Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking a dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties across Doncaster specialist schools. This temporary, term-time role offers engaging 1:1 and small-group interventions, with a focus on turning EHCP targets into tangible, sensory-based activities.

You will work closely with therapists, teachers and families, supporting personal care and mobility, while maintaining a compassionate and patient approach.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven track record with PMLD, complex needs, or physical disabilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or ready to start).
• Two professional referees available to provide references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to engage learners.
• Bring EHCP targets to life using sensory play and communication aids.
• Create a nurturing environment where every small step is celebrated.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and feeding with dignity.
• Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and families to build holistic support.
