Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties across Mansfield specialist settings. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, bringing EHCP targets to life through sensory play and assist with personal care with dignity and compassion.

The role is temporary, term-time only, Monday to Friday, with pay rates between £92.56 and £110 per day (holiday pay included) and a range of CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with PMLD, complex needs or physical disabilities.
• Two professional referees ready to provide references.
• Patience, empathy and sense of humour are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions for pupil engagement.
• Bring targets to life through sensory play, communication aids and creative strategies.
• Support personal care, mobility and feeding with dignity and compassion.
• Collaborate with therapists, teachers and families to build holistic support.
