Are you passionate about supporting children and young people withProfound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? We are currently seeking acompassionate, proactive, and reliable Teaching Assistantto join a caring and inclusive SEN school in Bamber Bridge. The school caters to pupils aged4-19 years, offering a tailored and nurturing environment that promotes growth, independence, and dignity.

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants

  • Support Workers

  • Health Care Assistants

  • Individuals with strong experience in care or support roles, especially with additional or complex needs

Key Responsibilites:

  • Provide individualised support for pupils with PMLD, including those with physical, sensory, and communication challenges

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement personalised learning plans

  • Promote pupil independence, personal development, and well-being

  • Assist with personal care tasks and therapeutic activities as required

  • Maintain a positive, patient, and flexible approach in a dynamic classroom environment
