Job summary

Senovo is seeking a PMLD Learning Support Assistant in Tower Hamlets to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs.

This full-time temporary specialist SEN role includes personalised learning, sensory activities, communication support, mobility assistance, and, where required, personal care.

Experience with PMLD, complex needs, care or SEND is valued and enhanced safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with PMLD, complex needs, care, SEND or specialist education is valued.
• Familiarity with AAC, Makaton or sensory communication is useful but not mandatory for every role.
• QTS is not required.
• Enhanced DBS and full safeguarding checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Personalised learning and sensory activities.
• Provide communication support and mobility assistance as needed.
