Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living in Miskin, Wales seeks a Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old girl with autism and ADHD. The role includes helping with swimming, park visits, shopping and meals. A car driver with a license is required; the role supports independence and handles challenging behaviours.

The position is 2:1 with 6 hours per month by prior arrangement. Mileage allowance provided. Experience with non-verbal communication via tablet is beneficial, and you should be bubbly,

Personal Assistant required to support a 11-year-old girl living in Miskin with her family and 2 cats. She has a diagnosis of autism and ADHD and non-verbal but uses a tablet to communicate. PA to support with swimming, going to the park, shopping and out for food. PA to be car driver, bubbly energetic, encourage independence and be confident working with challenging behaviours.
