Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a 16-year-old boy living in Abercynon. The role requires supervision at all times due to limited safety awareness and anxiety; the child is verbal and physically able.

The position is 6 hours per week at £16.60 per hour. A full UK driving licence and car ownership are required. Knowledge of stimming and autism-related needs is helpful; please read full description before applying.

Personal assistant required to support a a 16-year-old boy living in the Abercynon area. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and currently currently awaiting assessment for ADHD and Tourette’s.
