Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care is seeking a befriender/personal assistant to support a 13-year-old girl who is autistic and nonverbal. The role involves assisting her in participating in social activities like outdoor outings, swimming, and visits to the park. This is a rewarding position that requires personal care tasks, including nappy changing.

The right candidate will share similar interests and be committed to aiding her social engagement. All necessary training will be provided.

Job description

18 hours per week (School Holidays) may be shared

I am looking for a befriender/personal assistant to support my 13-year-old daughter who is autistic and nonverbal. She likes to participate in social activities, during the week/ weekends and during the school holidays. Her interests are outdoor activities, swimming and going to the park.
