Job summary

Bullet Express is seeking a reliable Warehouse / Forklift Operator for the PM shift at the Bothwell site. You will load and unload lorries, move pallets with a forklift, scan freight, and ensure correct routing and on-time departures while upholding safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift licence, have warehouse experience, and work well in a team. You will follow Health & Safety procedures, keep areas clean, and support colleagues to keep the PM operation running

Qualifications

• A valid forklift licence is essential.
• Experience working within a busy warehouse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
• Moving and stacking pallets and freight using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Sorting and allocating freight to the correct routes, trunks and vehicles.
• Checking freight carefully to ensure it is in the correct location before loading.
• Carrying out accurate scanning and data capture.
• Checking labels, pallet quantities and freight information to ensure accuracy.
• Identifying and reporting damaged, incorrectly labelled or misallocated freight.
• Preparing and organising freight for onward trunk movements.
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and ready to depart on schedule.
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness.
• Carrying out equipment checks and reporting faults or defects promptly.
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the PM operation runs safely and efficiently.
