Job summary

A renowned UK food production company in Suffolk seeks a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team on a PM shift. In this hands-on role, you will provide technical assistance, ensuring the efficient repair and improvement of production lines. The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 4 or higher in engineering and demonstrable experience in a multi-discipline engineering role. Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 4 or higher in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Experience in multi-discipline engineering roles is essential.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and health safety compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for the head of engineering.
• Ensure efficient repair and modifications to company assets.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing problems before crises.

Skills

Mechanical and/or electrical engineering

Experience in a multi-discipline engineering role

Working knowledge of BRC standards

Knowledge of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

Planned preventative maintenance systems

Use of CMMS system

CIEH Level 3 Food Safety for Manufacturing

HACCP, TACCP and GMP qualification

Hygiene and health and safety compliance

Working with PLC systems

Fault-finding on electrical circuits

Sound fault-finding ability

Mechanical machinery experience

Good communication skills

Ability to work autonomously

Education

NVQ Level 4 or higher in mechanical and/or electrical engineering

IOSHH qualification

Tools

Computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
