Job summary

C & D Foods in Wretham, England, seeks a proactive Shift Multi Skilled Engineer to join the Engineering department. You will support maintenance on highly automated machinery, respond to breakdowns, and pursue improvements.

The role requires NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds in Electrical/Mechanical, 17th Edition, PLC competency, and hands-on fault diagnosis. Candidates with CMMS experience and lean/ TPM exposure are desired.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds Electrical/Mechanical (essential)
• 17th Edition I.E.E. regulations (essential)
• Competency in PLCs (essential)
• Ability to read, understand and work with schematic drawings (essential)
• Experience with CMMS (desirable)
• Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical skills (essential)

Responsibilities

• Operate to high Health & Safety standards.
• Respond to production breakdowns and deliver planned maintenance.
• Carry out small projects and modifications as required.
• Develop, create and implement maintenance SOPs.
• Carry out PPM inspections and preventive maintenance.
