Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Manufacturing Operator (rotation shift) at our Wellingborough facility to manufacture formulations to meet planned volumes safely and with high quality. You will rotate across manufacturing activities, operate mixing equipment, and uphold housekeeping and safety standards.

The role requires practical experience in manufacturing, GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, numeracy and ideally Maths/English qualifications, plus a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on a rotation shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm
• GCSE/ NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or 3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations
• Ideally a qualification in Maths and English – numeracy to read and understand numbers, batch cards, interpret and manipulate data
• Certified with forklift truck license
• Experience in manufacturing / process industry
• Excellent verbal communication and team work skills to work with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets
• Desire to champion the company values
• Logical problem‑solving skills
