Think FE Ltd is recruiting a Work-Based Learning Practitioner in Plumbing for a further education college in Flintshire, Deeside, with regular travel to learners’ workplaces.

The role involves managing a caseload, visiting employer sites to assess practical skills, and providing coaching and feedback to help learners achieve qualifications up to Level 3. The college supports progression toward assessor qualifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Plumbing, or equivalent.
• Relevant, proven plumbing industry experience.
• Eligibility to join the Gas Safe Register.
• Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent, at Grade C/4 or above.
• An interest in supporting learners and developing the next generation of plumbers.
• The ability to travel regularly to employer sites.
• Welsh language skills, or a willingness to learn through a supported, long-term professional development plan.

Responsabilités

• Visiting learners in their workplaces to assess their practical skills.
• Providing coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
• Monitoring progress and helping learners stay on track.
• Working with employers to support learners’ development and achievement.
• You’ll manage a caseload of learners, supporting them throughout their qualifications.
