Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Trainer Assessor to support apprentices and learners across workshop and workplace settings in Greater London. You will deliver training, conduct assessments against NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and work closely with employers to keep learners on track.

You will mentor apprentices through their programmes, maintain accurate records, and help learners achieve timely progression while upholding awarding body requirements.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• TAQA or A1 assessor qualification (desirable).
• Previous experience of training or assessing learners (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Delivering plumbing training in workshop and workplace environments.
• Carrying out practical assessments against NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Visiting employer sites to conduct progress reviews and support learners.
• Gathering and marking portfolio evidence in line with awarding body requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of learner attendance, progress and achievement.
• Mentoring apprentices through to timely completion of their programme.
