Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Sunderland is seeking two permanent Lecturer and Programme Lead – Plumbing to share industry knowledge and guide students toward employment or further study. This full-time, 37-hour-per-week role combines practical plumbing with education, supported by a progression path to teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing.
• At least 3 years' hands-on plumbing experience.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
• Genuine interest in working with and supporting young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, encourage and develop learners.
• Professional and positive approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality plumbing training and education to students.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of the plumbing programme.
• Mentor apprentices and develop less experienced team members.
• Support learners throughout their studies and maintain a positive learning environment.
