Job summary

The Education Network North in Sunderland invites applications for two permanent Lecturer and Programme Lead – Plumbing positions. You will draw on your hands-on plumbing experience to deliver high-quality training and help students progress to employment or further study.

Experience teaching is not essential; you will receive support to gain a Level 5 Diploma in Education. The role is permanent and full-time with a strong pension and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing as a minimum.
• At least 3 years' hands-on plumbing experience.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
• A genuine interest in working with and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality training and education to plumbing students.
• Plan and deliver the plumbing programme, maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Mentor apprentices and support less experienced staff where possible.
