Role: Plumbing Lecturer - Temp to Perm

Start: ASAP

PAY: 25-35ph

Location: Cambridge

The college have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Plumbing to join our construction team in Cambridge. You will join us on a full-time basis in a tempory postion with a strong chance of moving into a permanent postion.

About the role

We are seeking an interpersonal and self-motivated candidate with Plumbing industry experience to join the Department of Construction & Motor Vehicle.

This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of the Plumbing courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.

The successful candidate will need to have relevant industry experience in the Construction sector and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge with at a least Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing.

The successful candidate may also have :

• QTS, PGCE or DTTLS and experience in a further educational environment however great industry experience can be vital


• DBS and on update service


• Experience supporting College tutors in a wide range of practical courses


• A strong knowledge and understanding of a key subject at various levels
