Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) seeks a skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary maintenance team across Norfolk and Suffolk sites, based in Norwich. You will provide a comprehensive maintenance service, work flexibly, and participate in on-call duties.

Gas Safe registration is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate. The role offers a Band 4 grade with RRP £3,276.96 pro rata and a salary of £28,392–£31,157 per annum, plus benefits

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship in plumbing/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
ACS Gas Qualified.
Two years' experience in a mental health or secure service hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Providing a comprehensive service to include all aspects of planned, routine and reactive maintenance.
The repair and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical services and equipment on site.
Fault finding and diagnosis.
Routine inspections to ensure estate is safe and fully compliant.
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with Health & Safety and other relevant legislation.
Participation as a member of the On-Call Team providing an emergency out of hours service on a rotational basis.
