Job summary

Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our on-site maintenance team in Bury St Edmunds. You will contribute to a comprehensive, safe, and compliant maintenance service across our Suffolk and Norfolk sites, with involvement in on-call duties on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe Registration preferred, training available for the right person
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team
• Able to deliver a comprehensive maintenance service in a varied environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive maintenance across planned, routine and reactive work on-site
• Repair and maintain mechanical services and equipment on site
• Fault finding and diagnosis of issues in the estate
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with legislation
• Participate in the On-Call Team for out-of-hours emergencies on a rotational basis

Duties & Responsibilities Associated with this role include but are not limited to:

• Providing a comprehensive service to include all aspects of planned, routine and reactive maintenance
• The repair and maintenance of a wide rangeof mechanical services and equipment on site
• Fault finding and diagnosis
• Routine inspections to ensure our estate is safe and fullycompliant
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation
• You will be required to participate as a member of the On-Call Team providing an emergency out of hours service on a rotational basis
  Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are looking for a skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk & Norfolk sites. Being based in Bury St Edmunds

The successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident in being part of a teamthat provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique varied environment and ideally Gas Safe Registered, however this is not essential as we will support and provide relevant training for the right person.
