Wiltshire College & University Centre has an excellent opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer to join our team.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week, 52 weeks)

Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer – The Role:

As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our diverse student body. Your expertise will help shape the curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and industry-standard. You will motivate students and prepare them for successful careers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Plumbing and Heating Engineering.
• Develop and update course materials to reflect industry advancements and best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods and curriculum development.
• Participate in student recruitment, enrolment activities, and open days to promote the programs.

You – The Candidate:

We are seeking candidates who hold:

• Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing
• Gas competency
• IQA & Assessors Award or willingness to work towards it
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Level 2 (GCSE A-C) in English and Maths or willingness to attain these
• Willingness to undertake renewables delivery training
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and technologies
