Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a well-established, growing business serving residential and light commercial properties across Northamptonshire. The role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics and fault-finding with strong diagnostic skills.

The successful candidate will perform reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs on domestic gas and heating systems, with opportunities for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing/Heating.
• Current domestic gas ACS qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years' reactive maintenance experience.
• Strong diagnostic/fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
• Ability to work independently and diagnose faults logically.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own hand tools.
• Gas Safe registration with company support.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repairs across plumbing, heating and domestic gas systems.
• Diagnose faults logically and carry out effective repairs.
• Work across residential and light commercial properties in Northamptonshire.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent faults.
• Comply with Gas Safe registration requirements within the company.
