Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment is working with a well-established independent business in Norwich to recruit an experienced Plumbing, Heating & Gas Engineer. The role covers installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across domestic and commercial settings.

You will work on gas and oil-fired boilers, install radiators and controls, attend breakdowns, and help drive projects from start to finish while keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in domestic and/or commercial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS or ECS card holder.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, install, and diagnose faults on gas and oil-fired boilers.

• Install radiators, cylinders, tanks, valves, controls, and associated pipework.
• Attend breakdowns and carry out remedial repairs.
