Job summary

Find. is seeking a Plumbing & Gas Trainer to train apprentices and adult learners at a brand-new facility near Derby. The role welcomes experienced trainers or engineers moving into education, with no teaching experience required.

You will deliver comprehensive plumbing and gas training, short courses, ACS renewals and upskilling, while supporting learners to achieve their qualifications. 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong industry experience in plumbing, domestic gas or commercial gas.
• Relevant plumbing and gas qualifications.
• Good communication skills and an interest in developing others.
• Teaching or assessing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and gas training to apprentices and adult learners.
• Cover a range of subjects, including domestic gas, heating systems, smart meters, heat pumps and energy-efficient technologies.
• Deliver short courses, ACS renewals and upskilling programmes alongside apprenticeships.
• Support learners throughout their training, monitoring progress and helping them achieve their qualifications.
