Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Trainer in Wigan to transition industry expertise into apprenticeship education. The role focuses on delivering practical and theory sessions up to Level 3, using real-world skills to prepare learners for employment in the plumbing and gas sector.

The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience, Level 3 competence, and Gas Safe registration. Teaching qualifications are desirable, with full support to achieve them.

Formación

• Significant Plumbing & Gas industry experience.
• Current Gas Safe registration essential.
• Experience in training or mentoring is beneficial.
• Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Ability to manage apprenticeship delivery and learner progress.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Plumbing & Gas apprenticeship programmes, primarily up to Level 3.
• Deliver a mix of practical workshop and classroom-based theory sessions.
• Train learners across installation, maintenance, fault-finding and safe working practices.
• Develop apprentices' technical skills, professional behaviours and industry knowledge.
• Incorporate current Gas Safe requirements, regulations and employer expectations into training.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate assessment, progress and learner records.
• Support learners with progression and job readiness.
• Participate in employer engagement and open evenings as needed.
