Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong plumbing bias to join a maintenance team serving a diverse estate in Newcastle. You will focus primarily on domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs, while also handling general mechanical tasks.

Ideal candidates have a solid plumbing background, a Full UK Driving Licence, and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent. A supportive team environment and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems across diverse properties.
• Domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs (~90% of duties).
• General mechanical maintenance tasks across the estate.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service to building users.
