Job summary

West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds is hiring a Programme Tutor- Plumbing and Domestic Heating to join the Apprenticeship team on a permanent basis.

You will coach and mentor apprentices, liaise with employers and staff to ensure students are prepared for End Point Assessment, and support learners’ progression while developing their technical and professional skills in plumbing and renewable energy.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification or CCN1 required.
• Willingness to travel to student workplace sites.
• Coaching and mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Apprentices to support their progression.
• Liaise with employers and staff to ensure students are prepared for End Point Assessment.
• Contribute to a positive impact on learners' professional development.
