Overview

Position: Plumbing/Bathroom Technical Services Manager (Field Based). Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Some weekend work may be required with overtime pay. Location: London SE11 with extensive travel within the M25. Salary: £40k basic + commission & paid overtime. OTE £50k+. (Permanent position)

Pimlico Plumbers are London's largest independent Service & Maintenance Company. Due to company expansion, there is an immediate requirement for an experienced field based Bathroom Technical Services Manager. The successful candidate will meet domestic customers to discuss bespoke requirements, provide recommendations and estimate project costs.

Responsibilities
  • Project manage new bathroom installations from inception to completion, including liaising with our in-house CAD/bathroom designer on bespoke installs.
  • Meet with domestic customers to discuss bespoke requirements, assess viability, and provide cost estimates.
  • Allocate work to a team of bathroom installers and oversee the work carried out.
  • Visit live projects to ensure installations meet specifications and standards; ensure testing is to spec.
  • Upsell to customers as a sales biased bathroom specialist; maintain a high level of personalised customer service.
  • Provide a central point of contact for customer enquiries and follow up on estimates (within 3 days).
  • Provide and facilitate a high level of personalised support for the bathroom install team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the Pimlico brand and values throughout customer interactions.
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant Plumbing Qualification (NVQ Level 2).
  • Positive can-do attitude and highly articulate communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and present a smart appearance.
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to uphold Pimlico brand and values.
  • Experience costing domestic works.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Boiler experience (not essential).
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role.

Hours and Working Arrangements

You will be contracted to a 40 hour week. Specific hours of work and breaks are defined by your manager in accordance with operational requirements. You may be required to work outside normal hours and occasional weekends as necessary. Any additional hours worked are paid at the basic rate or time off in lieu.
