Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting an experienced Plumbing Assessor for a long-term temporary role with an FE college in West London. The role combines classroom teaching for Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices with on-site workplace assessments to ensure apprentices develop the required skills.

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging sessions, conduct workplace assessments three days a week, and maintain accurate records. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Plumbing qualification and a recognised assessor qualification (TAQA/A1).
• Proven experience in plumbing and ability to assess practical workplace competence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in teaching or assessing apprentices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 Plumbing teaching to Apprentices two days per week.
• Carry out on-site assessments three days per week for workplace learners.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure standards compliance.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing Assessor to join an FE college in West London. This is a long-term temporary opportunity involving a combination of classroom teaching and on-site assessment, supporting Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices throughout their training.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging teaching sessions and carry out workplace assessments to ensure apprentices are developing the skills and knowledge required to achieve their qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching sessions to Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices two days per week.
• Carry out on-site assessments three days per week, assessing apprentices in their workplace.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
• A recognised assessor qualification, such as TAQA or A1.
• Strong plumbing industry experience and the ability to assess practical workplace competence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to support apprentices through their training.
