Position: Plumbing and Drainage Technician

Salary: £33,743.93 + 15% London Weighting Allowance

Location: West London

Shift Pattern: Hours per day to be specified

City Facilities Management UK Limited is expanding its services and recruiting for a new Plumbing and Drainage team. We are a multinational company providing facilities management and maintenance services to clients including ASDA, with over 30 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and repair sanitaryware and plumbing systems in ASDA stores.
2. Ensure surface and foul water drainage systems are operational.
3. Prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to service requests promptly.
4. Procure parts and materials as needed, coordinating with store management to minimize disruption.
5. Conduct preventative maintenance on drainage and roof systems.
6. Make recommendations for replacements when necessary.
7. Comply with health and safety policies and environmental regulations.
8. Complete mandatory training to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Experience in plumbing or drainage is essential. Candidates should possess:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating Systems/Drainage or equivalent qualification.
• Or a recognized apprenticeship with appropriate City and Guilds certification.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in confined spaces.
• Water jetting skills.
