Mears Group PLC is seeking an experienced Plumber in Cambridge to join our responsive repairs team. This hands-on role involves carrying out a wide range of domestic plumbing repairs in occupied social housing properties, while delivering excellent resident-focused service.

You will diagnose leaks, repair heating and drainage issues, replace sanitary fittings, and ensure work complies with safety regulations. A valid UK driving licence and own tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Provide own hand tools for day-to-day work.
• Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in occupied homes.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied properties.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and drainage issues.
• Replace taps, toilets, cisterns, basins, and other sanitary ware.
• Repair or replace pipework, valves, and fittings.
• Investigate and resolve issues with hot water systems and radiators.
• Ensure all work complies with current plumbing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.
