Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Plumber Multi Trade for void and responsive maintenance work in Dorset, mainly around Bovindon, Blandford and Poole. The role covers 40 hours per week with a van and fuel card provided.

Salary is £34,000–£36,000 per year, and the position starts at 13 weeks temp-to-perm with CIS or PAYE during the temp period. The successful candidate will perform diverse trades within void MOD properties, ensure properties are ready for the next tenant, and report progress

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple trades, with a bias toward plumbing.
• Positive, proactive attitude and reliability.
• Experience in social housing or MOD environments is a plus.
• Full clean driving licence and readiness for site work may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Respond to void maintenance tasks in MOD properties.
• Carry out a variety of trades (tiling, carpentry, plumbing, painting, kitchen/bathroom fitting).
• Prepare properties for the next tenant and carry out responsive maintenance.
• Report progress to your supervisor and keep records up to date.
• Operate the company van safely and responsibly.

Plumber Multi Trade - Dorset - Voids and Response

We are working with a busy client to recruit an experienced Plumber Multi Trade to provide a maintenance service on void MOD properties. You will be working on jobs in Dorset and covering the local area mainly Bovindon, Blandford and Poole.

• 40 hours per week
• Van and fuel card included
• Annual salary £34-36,000
• This role is 13 weeks temp to perm and can be paid CIS or PAYE during temp period.

Multiskilled Operative Day to Day:

• Responsive work in void MOD properties
• Completing a variety of works in various trades
• Tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling, some external work etc
• Getting property ready for the next tenant
• Some responsive maintenance as well as the void work
• Reporting progress to your supervisor
• Driving a company van safely and responsibly

Multiskilled Operative Requirements:

• Good multi-trade experience
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Ideally social housing/ MOD experience

The successful candidate will have to do a DBS check and a BPSS security check.

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone with skills in all trades with a bias towards plumbing to use that knowledge in the Dorset and surrounding area with a busy and well liked contractor.
