Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Plumber Multi-Trade to cover Basingstoke. You will perform reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties, handling a range of plumbing tasks and additional multi-trade work as required.

You’ll work in occupied properties, delivering a professional service to residents and managing workload safely and efficiently. The role offers £23 per hour with a company van and a temp-to-perm path to a £38,000 annual salary, on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday,

Job description

Plumber Multi-Trade role covering Basingstoke, paying £23 per hour, with a company van and the opportunity to go permanent on a salary of £38,000. This is a reactive repairs and maintenance role working across social housing properties. You’ll need to be a strong plumber who is also confident carrying out additional multi-trade repairs when required, working professionally in occupied properties and providing a good service to residents.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Plumber Multi-Trade, Maintenance Plumber or Multi-Trade Operative with experience in social housing repairs.

As a Plumber Multi-Trade, you will be:

• Completing reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Carrying out a range of plumbing repairs and associated maintenance tasks.
• Undertaking additional multi-trade work when required.
• Working across occupied properties and dealing professionally with residents.
• Managing a busy workload and completing jobs efficiently.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Completing relevant job sheets and paperwork.

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Strong plumbing and maintenance experience.
• Previous experience working within SNG or similar social housing environments.
• Experience carrying out reactive repairs in occupied properties.
• Confidence undertaking additional multi-trade work when required.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• A valid DBS, or the ability to obtain one.
• Availability to start on 9 November.

Formal qualifications are not essential for this opportunity, provided you have the relevant practical experience.
