Fortem are recruiting a Plumber Multi Trade to join the Amplius Social Housing group on a permanent basis. You will work on responsive repairs and maintenance across a large patch from St Neots to Peterborough, covering social housing properties.

The role includes on-site tasks, basic carpentry, and other trades, with a company van, PPE, tools, and a strong benefits package for on-call work.

Competenze

• NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Ability to change cylinders, install baths, sinks, taps and WCs independently.
• Full UK driving licence (max 5 points) with no bans.
• Pass basic DBS check.
• Desirable: Social Housing experience
• Unvented G3 (Desirable)

Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team working with Amplius Social Housing group as a permanent Plumber Multi tradeWorking on the responsive repairs and maintenance team, which uses core Plumbing skills, basic Carpentry and a range of other Multi trade skills which can include, Tiling, Flooring, Windows.This is covering a large patch of social housing properties which are based from St Neots to Peterborough and surrounding area so travel is essentialWe provide a Company Van & Fuel card and PPE and Tools!+ Excellent benefits package with generous holiday entitlement + Generous ON CALL every 6-8 weeks rotaAs a Plumber Multi Trade you will be ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. Taking ownership of work, aiming for successful turnarounds times, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters, whilst being courteous and professional on site.

Duties and Responsibilities

Completing Full Plumbing and basic Carpentry repairs work for all social housing properties as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner with specific turnaround deadlines.Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required.Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices.Affording excellent customer service to client representatives and tenants.Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner.Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times.Operating within the company’s occupational road risk policies and proceduresUsing a PDA smart phone to correspond daily with colleagues to update progress and completion information for your allocated work.

What you will need

Essential Criteria:NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent in Plumbing/ OR Qualified by experience will be consideredMust be able to change Cylinders, carry out bath, Sink, Taps and WC installations independentlyFull UK driving license (Max 5 points) and no recent driving bansMust be able to pass basic DBS checkDesirable but not essential:Social Housing experienceUnvented G3
