Job summary

Insignis is looking for an experienced plumber to join its Responsive Repairs Team in the North Hampshire area. The role is full-time with a company van and fuel card provided, reflecting the needs of a mobile workload across domestic properties.

You will perform repairs and installations across kitchens and bathrooms, install pipework and fittings, and manage both routine maintenance and call-outs. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing are essential, with opportunities to earn

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Experience working in occupied premises and delivering good customer service.
• Full UK driving licence with at least 2 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Repairs to domestic plumbing installations across properties.
• Install replacement sanitary ware, baths, showers and related equipment.
• Install kitchen sinks and new pipework (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater).
• Install new sundry items (taps, ball valves) and repair sundry items as needed.
• Work on water mains supplies, heating pipe work and drainage stop taps.
• Install/repair domestic appliances like showers and washing machines.
• Vent/Unvented cylinder heads experience (HWSS) is advantageous.
• Maintenance of cold water storage tanks and renewals as required.

Job description

A client of mine who is a Large Housing Association and Property Maintenance Company are looking to Recruit an experienced Plumber on a full time permanent basis to join their Responsive Repairs Team in the North Hampshire area. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road they will provide you with a van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.

Tasks to include:

• Repairs to domestic plumbing installations
• Installation of replacement sanitary ware and baths, shower trays and level decks and associated equipment
• Installation of kitchen sinks
• Installation of new pipe work (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
• Installation of new sundry items such as taps and ball valves
• Repairs to sundry items
• Installing and repairing water mains supplies, heating system pipe work and drainage stop taps
• Installing and fixing domestic appliances like showers and washing machines
• Vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or alternative)
• Cold water storage tank maintenance and renewal

Skills & Qualifications

You should have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and have demonstrable experience in all aspects of this core trade. You will have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call out and overtime when required.

Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van
