Job summary

Insignis is seeking an experienced plumber to join our Responsive Repairs Team in the Basingstoke area. You will perform repairs to domestic plumbing installations and install sanitary ware, baths and new pipework.

You will work on vented and unvented systems, install kitchen sinks and associated pipework, and maintain water storage tanks while delivering high standards of customer service in occupied premises. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.
• Proven experience in all aspects of plumbing work.
• Strong customer service skills and experience working in occupied premises.
• Full UK Driving Licence (minimum 2 years' experience)

Responsibilities

• Repairs to domestic plumbing installations.
• Vinyl floor laying.
• Installation of replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, and associated equipment.
• Installation of kitchen sinks and new pipework (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater).
• Repairs and installation of sundry items such as taps, ball valves, and drainage stop taps.
• Installing and repairing water mains, heating system pipework, and domestic appliances (showers, washing machines).
• Maintenance and renewal of cold water storage tanks.
• Work on vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or alternative).
