Uniplumb Cambridge Ltd is expanding its team and seeking a reliable, experienced Plumber for a permanent role in the Cambridge area.

You will work on domestic and light commercial jobs, including repairs, bathroom installations, central heating systems, water meters, pipework, and ongoing maintenance, while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Proven track record in domestic plumbing work.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Gas Safe or related qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Install bathrooms, radiators, pipework and related systems.
• Handle reactive call-outs and planned works.
• Ensure work complies with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service and tidy, professional appearance.
• Work independently or as part of a team and document work accurately.
• Support the wider team as needed.

You'll work on a variety of domestic and light commercial jobs including general plumbing repairs, bathroom installations, central heating systems, water meters, pipework, and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and general plumbing work to a high standard.
• Install and fit bathrooms, radiators, pipework, and related systems.
• Handle reactive call-outs, servicing, and planned works.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain excellent customer service - professional, tidy, and communicative.
• Work independently or as part of the team, managing materials and completing job documentation accurately.
• Support the wider team where needed.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.
• Proven track record as an experienced plumber in domestic settings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused with good attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Gas Safe or other qualifications such as FGAS, Commercial or Air Source Heat Pumps
• Experience with water meter installations, bathrooms, central heating, or unvented systems.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
