Job summary

Morgan Sindall Property Services is recruiting for a heating service role responsible for replacing central heating and hot water systems in domestic properties. You will manage pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, valves and insulation while participating in a rota for paid out of hours call outs.

A handheld device will be used to receive and complete tasks in line with safety standards. The role requires Level 2 NVQ/SVQ in Domestic Heating or Heating & Ventilation, a JIB PMES Heating

Qualifications

Experience in domestic heating or heating & ventilation roles.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong safety and H&S knowledge.

Responsibilities

Replace central heating and hot water systems in domestic properties, including pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, valves and insulation.
Handle paid out of hours call outs on a rota.
Use handheld device for task management, maintain safety and quality.

Job description

Working to deliver the best quality service, you'll be carrying out replacement of the central heating and hot water systems to domestic properties which will include pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, valves and insulation. The role also includes for paid out of hours call outs on a rota basis shared with the North West Team. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

Previous experience within a similar role, you'll have the ability to work in all weather, operating small hand tools and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions. You'll have excellent working H & S knowledge and knowledge of communal district heating and hot water supplies. Idealy you will have a social/local authority housing background.,

Appropriate Level 2 NVQ/SVQ; Level 2 NVQ Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Domestic Heating or Heating & Ventilation
JIB PMES Heating Fitter Blue Card or working towards.
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
The role offers the opportunity for paid out of hours callouts.
